NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On Wednesday afternoon, Tennessee Titans' officials gave a tour to show off the renovations at LP Field.
One of the new features is new LED video screens on the scoreboards, which are shaping up to be some of the largest in the NFL. They are also four times larger than the previous ones.
Also on the way, a new elevator system with two banks of high speed elevators with six cars each.
One of the biggest changes will be a new sound system that will add 800 more speakers throughout LP Field. The sound will be clearer and will not have a delay.
There is also an area being converted into a fan-friendly dining and entertainment zones. When construction is done, there will be a new restaurant that will be available for private functions for up to 500 people.
All the high-tech upgrades are expected to be completed by the start of the 2012 season, which starts in September.
