SPRINGFIELD, Tenn.- Thieves stole thousands of dollars in musical instruments from a church, but that didn't silence their Easter service.

At Red River Assembly of God, music is a major part of the ministry. So one may imagine the anger after thieves made off with the church's guitars, amplifiers and musical instruments. They also stole a safe and master keys to every door in the building.

"My first instinct, a crack head, someone who had an addiction, and they needed some fast money," said church Pastor Wayne Ralph.

With borrowed guitars and personal instruments, Easter service went on with a message of forgiveness rather than anger.

There have been no arrests made in this case.
