Major I-24 Bridge Construction Project Announced Monday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation officials will announce a major construction project on Monday afternoon.

It is expected to be a major bridge repair to the Silliman Evans Bridge on Interstate 24.

TDOT Commissioner John Schroer and Deputy Commissioner Paul Degges along with LP Field General Manager Walter Overton and Metro Public Works Interim Director Randy Lovett will be on hand for the announcement at 2 p.m. in Parking Lot A at LP Field.

They will likely announce what kind of road closures to expect with this project.
