NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Traffic was slowed Monday morning after multiple vehicle crash in the westbound lanes Interstate 40.
It happened around 7:30 a.m. at mile marker 213, west of Spence Lane. TDOT cameras showed a Ford F-350 across the interstate, with cars being diverted around in the emergency lane.
A witness said the truck hit several cars, including a Ford Mustang which hit a pole.
At least two ambulances left the scene, though it was unclear of injuries.
Three lanes were cleared by 8:10 a.m. All lanes were cleared by 8:45 a.m., but traffic had been backed up for at least six miles.
