Man Killed By Train In Hopkinsville, Kentucky

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Police are investigating after a train hit and killed a man in western Kentucky.

Hopkinsville Police officer Roger Stephens told the Kentucky New Era that 34-year-old Corey Majors died early Sunday after being hit by a train.

Police responded to the scene after the train's conductor reported hitting a man who was sitting on the tracks.

Stephens said police found open and unopened alcoholic beverages near Majors.
