NASHVILLE, Tenn.- It's a
major milestone; 100 years of changing
lives, and Saturday, Tennessee State University kicked off their Centennial Celebration
on the football field.
Fans enjoyed some spring football on a pleasant Saturday. The unofficial start to a week packed with
events started at William Jasper Hale Stadium, also known as "The Hole,"
for the annual Blue and White game. For the next eight days TSU will host
lectures, exhibits, social events and more. To them it's a chance to look back
at a century of history while keeping an eye on the future.
"It's amazing to see how
much we've grown since 1912. I'm really excited for this Centennial Celebration.
We have a lot in store," said TSU student Danicia Hayes. "It's just great to be
here and be a student during this time."
