NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A familiar
face was back in town Saturday taking a break from the grid-iron for a cause
close to his heart.
Former Titans and current
Saint Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher was out at Centennial Park Saturday. He
was joined by hundreds for the annual "Nashville Walks for Nashville's
Children."
NewsChannel 5's own, Kristin
Priesol also helped out as the mistress of ceremonies for the event.
The goal was raising money
for The Nashville Children's Alliance, so they can provide free services to
children who are victims of abuse.
"The winners in all
of this are the families and children we serve. So we're walking today in honor
of the almost 700 children that we served last year," said NCA Executive
Director, June Turner.
The Nashville Children's
Alliance has been helping children and families since it was founded in 1992.
