NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man was shot in the back Sunday night in East Nashville, and police continue to search for the suspect.
It happened just before 10 p.m. at the Litton's Corner Market on Gallatin Pike. The man who was shot three times was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
Police closed off the area as they searched for the shooter, but without any luck.
It's believed the shooter and the victim knew each other. However, no identities were released.
Police continue to investigate.
