GALLATIN, Tenn.- He just might be the Titans' biggest fan. A Gallatin man's love for his team has earned him a front row seat at the NFL Draft.
Josh Curd created a video proclaiming his love to the Titans and entered it into a contest in hopes of winning the chance to announce the Titan's 4th round draft pick, along with a trip for two to see the draft in New York.
Curd said he got the idea for the video from a friend a work.
The video begins with Curd sitting in his car, in a parking lot listening to the Titans game. It's the 4th quarter of the game, when a friend calls him on his phone.
"The service is about to start man! You gotta hurry. They'll wait on me, its' my wedding, it's not like we're going anywhere," Curd explains in the video.
Josh used a little creative editing to cut to a scene from his actual wedding ceremony, during which he gets emotional and begins crying while saying his vows.
The video suggests that men begin to cry when they miss a Titans game.
The Tennessee Titans received hundreds of entries, and Josh's video was picked as one of the top ten finalists. From there, he used Facebook to encourage friends, family, and co-workers to vote for his video.
"They said this is someone from the Tennessee Titans, and congrats. And I'm like congrats?? Congrats on what? And they're like you won! And I'm like no, no I didn't!"
Josh's prize includes a trip for for two to the NFL draft in New York - but he's not taking his wife.
Instead, Josh says, he'll bring a close friend, who is also a big Titans fan.
