Man Found Shot To Death Inside SUV

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have identified the man who was found shot to death inside a SUV in east Nashville early Wednesday morning.

Police said 22-year-old Quintin Johnson had been a passenger in a Chevrolet Suburban driven by 22-year-old Ronald Partee. Partee told police that he and Johnson were sitting outside a residence on Chicamauga Avenue around 2:30 a.m. talking to the gunman when he allegedly opened fire on the SUV. Partee said the gunman robbed him.

He then allegedly drove to the parking lot on North 7th Street where police were called. Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they are pursuing strong leads.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
