WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. - A Williamson County principal stayed the night on the roof of his school Tuesday.
Crockett Elementary School principal Robert Bohrer promised his students that if 300 kids signed up for the upcoming "Kids Rock" marathon, he would spend the night on the roof.
Well, 405 students signed up to run the race, and Bohrer kept his promise.
"Love watching the kids smile and get excited about something. And when they met their first goal of 300 kids signing up, they were kind of like putting it back on us: ‘what else can we do? What else can we do?' And so we're going to add to the sleeping on the roof, we're just not quite sure what that is yet," Bohrer said.
The "Kids Rock" marathon is on April 27 at LP Field.
