Man Shot In Back Near Metro Police Precinct

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man was shot several times near the Metro North Police Precinct on Wednesday night.

The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. on 26th Avenue North.

Police have not released any details about the shooting incident, but said that a man was injured and transported to a local hospital. His condition was unknown.

The victim's name was not released.

Police continue searching for the gunman.
