WAYNE COUNTY, Tenn. - A dangerous fugitive on the run from out of state was captured in a dramatic raid by U.S. Marshals in Wayne County.
Donald Long was wanted in Mississippi on assault, resisting arrest and a felon in possession of a weapon.
A tip led marshals to a home in Waynesboro where Long was hiding out with a girlfriend. Authorities rushed the home and caught Long by surprise in the bathroom.
He was taken into custody without incident. However, authorities discovered he had two loaded weapons, a .45 handgun and a 22 rifle.
Long will be extradited to Mississippi to face charges.
