Predators Hope To Win Game 5 Friday In Nashville

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP/NewsChannel 5) - The Nashville Predators are hoping they can send the Detroit Red Wings to their earliest elimination from the playoffs since 2006.

All the Predators need to do is win Game 5 on Friday night at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The puck drops at 7 p.m.

Preds fans are notorious for their loyalty. Earlier this week, they welcomed the team at the Nashville airport, cheering them on to get one step closer to the ultimate goal.

The Predators are up 3-1 in the series.

A warning to those driving to the game: I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed from the I-24/I-65 split north of downtown to the I-24/I-40 split east of downtown beginning at 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. Detour signs will be posted, directing motorists to take the west loop around downtown. Overhead message signs will direct motorists around the closure.

TDOT said the best thing you can do is plan ahead of time exactly how you will get home from the game.
