Pilot Program To Tout Public Transit In Nashville

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A new initiative in Nashville seeks to promote public transit options available in the area.

Transit Now Nashville announced that a pilot program called Transit Camp will partner with workplaces to find ways to incorporate public transportation into the daily routine of employees.

Transit Now board member Betsy Clapsaddle told The Nashville Ledger that the initiative is touting the current transit system while also asking for ways to improve it.

She said she hopes the initiative encourages more people to take advantage of public transportation.
