NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A convicted burglar is back behind bars after being caught stealing electronics from a South Nashville home.
Police said an alert neighbor called officers to report 41-year-old James Crook taking electronics from a home on Elberta Street around 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
Crook was arrested as he was coming out of the back door of the home. Police said some of the stolen items were found on the front porch and a large flat screen TV was located nearby.
Crook was charged with aggravated burglary, theft and vandalism. Officials said that he had previously been convicted for aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, assault, drug possession and forgery. He was taken to the Davidson County Jail where he was held in lieu of $60,000 bond.
