CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A 26-year-old man was critically injured in an overnight shooting in Clarksville.
Police received a shots fired call around 1 a.m. Wednesday in the Chapel Street area. Officers who arrived on the scene saw a car near the intersection of Chapel and Locust Street rolling backward.
The victim was partially outside the vehicle. There were several bullet holes inside the vehicle, as well as shell casings around the scene.
Officers later discovered another vehicle and a home in the area had been hit by gunfire.
The victim was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He underwent surgery and was reported to be in critical, but stable condition.
No arrests were made.
