Police Search For Escaped Inmate In Western Ky.

GREENVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police said they are searching for a man who walked away from a work release program in western Kentucky.

Police said 32-year-old Jeffrey S. Johnson, an inmate at the Muhlenberg County Detention Center, walked away from work detail Wednesday morning at the Greenville City Park.

Johnson is described as a bald, white male with hazel eyes who stands 5-foot-10 and weighs 190 pounds. He is originally from Campton and was being held on non-violent theft charges.
