Elevator Fire Evacuates Vandy Children's Hospital Garage

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A fire in an elevator shaft evacuated a garage at Monroe Carrell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.

It happened around 11:15 a.m. Thursday inside the sixth floor of the south garage at 1504 24th Avenue South.

Smoke was reportedly coming from an elevator shaft.

No one was hurt.
