Man Arrested after Assault on TSU Officer

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police have arrested a man they say knocked a TSU police officer unconscious earlier this week. Steven Soles is charged with aggravated assault on an officer.

Monday night, TSU undercover officer Eric Crowder was working an event at the Gentry Center when he was attacked and hit over the head numerous times.

Soles was booked Friday night. He has since bonded out of jail.
