PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Attorneys for the parents of two Hungarian students killed in a Philadelphia collision between a barge and a tour boat have released a new video of the crash just days before a civil wrongful death lawsuit goes to court.
Sixteen-year-old Dora Schwendtner and 20-year-old Szabolcs Prem, died when a city barge pushed by a tug collided with their disabled duck boat on the Delaware River in July 2010, also plunging 35 others into the river.
Officials said the National Transportation Safety Board had the video showing the crash from the Camden, N.J., side of the river.
A hearing is slated for Monday in the suit naming the city, operators of both vessels and others. The tug boat pilot was sentenced in November to a year in federal prison.
