Man Critically Injured In Clarksville Crash

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- One man was critically injured after a wreck on Ashland City Road early Wednesday morning.

Officials with the Clarksville Police department said that for an unknown reason, a 1987 Isuzu Trooper driven by 47-year-old Shawn B. Lindstrom crossed the center lane and crashed.

Police said that Lindstrom was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and had to be taken by emergency medical helicopter to Vanderbilt Medical Center. Officials believed that prescription drugs may have been a factor in the crash.
