I-40 East Re-Opens After Tractor Trailer Fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Interstate 40 eastbound in downtown Nashville has re-opened after a tractor trailer fire.

It happened around 12:15 p.m. Thursday at 2nd/4th Avenues.

The tractor trailer was carrying chemicals and caught fire. TDOT cameras showed water on the road with slow moving traffic.

No one was hurt.
