Man Shot Near East Nashville Playground

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Saturday evening, police were investigating a shooting that happened in east Nashville near a playground.

Police say a man was shot in the leg on Sylvan Street just before 5:30. He was transported to the hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.

Police are trying to determine the motive in this shooting and who is responsible.
