Hickman County Prison Remains On Lockdown

HICKMAN COUNTY, Tenn.- A Hickman County prison remained on lockdown after an inmate was stabbed within the facility.

Officials said the stabbing occurred around noon Monday at the Turney Center Industrial Complex on R.W Moore Memorial Highway. An inmate was injured in the incident, but according to prison officials received a non-life threatening wound and was being treated within the prison facility.

The prison was on lockdown while officials investigated the stabbing.

The inmates name was not released. A suspect in the case was not identified.
