KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Southbound lanes on heavily traveled Interstate 75 in Campbell County will remain closed for repair work until at least Thursday, causing potential long delays.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation said in a news release Tuesday that crews will continue to stabilize a section of rock slope where an embankment collapsed March 8. Work began late Monday night.
Northbound lanes also will be affected with just one lane of traffic open for some three miles.
Detours will be posted.
The interstate flows north into Kentucky and south into Georgia.
