SPRINGFILED, Tenn.- Police in Springfield arrested three men after they robbed a local bank Tuesday morning.
Officials said the robbery happened at the Commerce Union Bank on South Main Street just after 11:30 a.m. The three men walked into the bank and at gunpoint demanded money. The suspects fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspects were quickly apprehended just yards from the bank by Springfield Police officers.
Police identified the robbers as 20-year-old Tanner Patterson, 20-year-old Devonte Lunsford and 19-year-oldKeenan Danzell
Singletary. All three were charged with aggravated robbery and police said they will likely face federal charges.
