NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Lawsuits against one of Nashville's largest churches continue to move forward, but so far no court date has been set.
In March Corey Corbin joined several women, some who have chosen to remain anonymous in a lawsuit against Mount Zion Baptist Church. Corbin and the others have accused Bishop Joseph Walker of sexual misconduct, and are asking for millions of dollars in damages.
Mount Zion officials have strongly denied any wrongdoing and call the claims made in the lawsuits "ridiculous and sensational." In a statement, the church calls the legal actions not a quest for truth or justice, but motivated only by money.
There's no word on just when a court date could be set.
