Middle School Coach Charged With Sexual Battery

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn.- A middle school football coach has been arrested on charges of sexual battery by an authority figure.

Officials with the Cheatham County Sheriff Department said that Harpeth Middle School Assistant Football Coach Matt Clark was arrested Wednesday.

Police said that Clark was charged in an incident with a student from the school. Details of the incident have not been released.

It was not clear if Clark was still working for the school at the time of his arrest.
