Man Accused of Shooting Officer Arrested

CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn.- After an all-night manhunt, police have arrested a suspect accused of shooting one of their own.

Bill Garrett, the police chief of the small town of Friendship in Crockett County was shot at a Dollar General Store Friday night.

Crockett County Police with assistance from, Dyer County, Dyersburg, Jackson and the THP arrested 39-year-old Craig Barbee. A second person is still wanted.

As of Saturday evening, Chief Garrett is in serious condition.
