NASHVILLE, Tenn.- An escaped juvenile offender has been caught after a week and a half on the run.
Metro Police say a tip led them to 15-year-old Santonio Jenkins. He was hiding out at a home on Rio Vista drive in Madison.
On May 8th, Jenkins was being taken from Nashville's Juvenile Justice Center to a Shelby County facility when he jumped out of the car on 1st Avenue North at Spring Street.
Jenkins was in custody at the time probation violation.
