MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. - A Good Samaritan is paying the price after a car crash in McMinnville.
Police said Christy Stevens crashed her car on West Green Hill Road. It turned out she has a mobile meth lab in the car.
While she waited for police to arrive to file the crash report, she went to a nearby home where an elderly woman allowed her inside to use the bathroom.
Police said she took in her small one-pot meth lab inside to hide it.
That's when it burst into flames under the bathroom sink and contaminated the home.
The 86-year-old woman now has to deal with the chemical odor in her home.
Stevens was booked on a variety of charges, including making meth.
