NASHVILLE, Tenn. - One of Tennessee's largest waterfalls will be named a new state park.
Governor Bill Haslam will be on hand Tuesday as Cummins Falls becomes the state's 54th park.
The Tennessee Parks and Greenways Foundation spent more than a million dollars to buy the 211-acre site near Cookeville, and save it from a proposed development.
The falls are 75 feet high, and the eighth largest in Tennessee.
