SPRING HILL, Tenn.- In Spring Hill, a funeral home will try again to get permission to open a new crematory.
Owners of Spring Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home plan on going in front of the Municipal Board of Zoning Appeals next week. This will be the second time the Spring Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home has appealed to the Municipal Board of Zoning.
A meeting was held Tuesday night, but no vote on the issue was taken because the city attorney was unable to make the meeting.
The funeral home went before leaders last year, but got turned down, when neighbors complained about safety and health issues. But, a study revealed there was only a small chance the crematory could harm the public.
