Argument Leads To Stabbing Near Kohls Trailhead

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – One person was stabbed after an apparent argument between two groups of people walking on a popular section of the Stones River Greenway in Davidson County.

The stabbing was reported just after 3 p.m. Wednesday near the Kohls trailhead off Lebanon Road in Donelson.

Police said words were exchanged between the two groups and one man was stabbed. The victim was transported to nearby Summit Medical Center in Hermitage. The extent of the injuries was unknown.

Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department and Metro Parks Department were called to the trailhead to investigate.

One person was questioned, but police have not made any arrests.

The trail was not shut down.
