Jiffy Lube Employee Attacked, Robbed

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - On Wednesday night, there was a violent showdown between a Jiffy Lube employee and a gunman in a north Nashville parking lot.

"I just knew I was going to get shot. He had plenty of time to shoot me," said robbery victim Don Manor.

Police said a gunman approached the Jiffy Lube on Gallatin Road and soon came face to face with one of its employees. The two struggled and the robber hit him with the pistol.

"I just stepped out the door from work whacked me with a pistol butt, and I punched him back," Manor recalled.

The suspect took off on foot with cash and personal belongings. Police are asking people with information to contact them Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
