NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Military personnel and their families are being offered free horseback rides and other activities Sunday in Nashville.
Anyone with a military ID is invited to A Cowboy Town in the White's Creek area of Nashville for the rides, fishing, canoeing, country music and barbecue.
The event is dubbed Operation Free Ride, part of the Horses4Heroes support group for the military.
Denise Reynolds, owner of A Cowboy Town, said the activities are designed to bring military families together. She is a member of the National Guard and just returned from a deployment.
