WARREN COUNTY, Tenn. – Two people were killed and a child was hurt in a head-on collision in Warren County on Friday morning.
Officials said the crash happened just before 7 a.m. on Highway 55. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said a Dodge Caravan driving north crossed into the southbound lanes and struck a Pontiac Grand Am head-on.
The driver of the Grand Am, 43-year-old Terry McCormick, was fatally injured in the crash. The driver of the Caravan, 56-year-old Rita Greene, was taken by ambulance, but later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
A two-year-old child in the Grand Am also suffered with non-life threatening injuries. The child was in a child seat.
