KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Investigators are trying to determine what led to a fire at a mobile home that left three people dead in Cocke County.
Cocke County Sheriff Armando Fontes told WBIR-TV in Knoxville that the fire happened around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night at a mobile home in the Hartford community.
The bodies of two adults and a child were found inside, but Fontes said he cannot confirm the identities until autopsies have been performed. He said a couple lived in the mobile home with their son.
Fontes said they are looking for a 2000 Nissan Maxima that belonged to the couple and are asking people to call with information. He said the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the criminal investigation into their deaths.
