Shaw Leaving As Vanderbilt Men's Golf Coach

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Vanderbilt and men's golf coach Tom Shaw are parting ways after six years.

The school announced the move Tuesday in a news release, saying his teams had represented the university well.

Under Shaw, Vanderbilt advanced to postseason play three times, including the NCAA championship in 2007.

In a statement released by the school, Shaw said he's leaving the program in great shape and is proud of the progress that's been made.
