Commissioner Promoting Awareness Of The Disabled

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Commissioner Jim Henry is on a statewide tour to promote awareness of people with disabilities.

The goal of the visits is to encourage citizens to support agencies providing services to the disabled.

During the tour, Henry will award certificates of appreciation signed by Governor Bill Haslam.

The tour began Tuesday in Memphis.
