SMITH COUNTY, Tenn. - A manhunt is underway in Smith County for three people who robbed a drugstore overnight.

It happened around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday at Gordonsville Drugs. The Smith County Sheriff's Department said three men wearing dark colored hoodies and masks broke into the store and ransacked the place stealing prescription drugs.

An alarm alerted officers, who arrived and chased the suspects.

Investigators said the three men stole a truck and crashed it before running off on foot.

The Tennessee Highway patrol helicopter was flying over the area to help search for the burglars. So far, no arrests were made.

Police said there is surveillance video from inside the store.
