NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Titans defensive lineman Shaun Smith took some time off the field Tuesday to teach yoga for a good cause.
The football star taught two classes at Hot Yoga Plus in Nashville.
Proceeds from the class went directly to his foundation called "91 Ways", which helps inner-city youth and funds supplies for community classrooms.
Smith said he's been practicing yoga for five years now, but it was his first attempt at teaching.
"I'm nervous about it a little bit -- it's almost like me in my first game in the NFL. Little nervous, don't know what to expect, but I'm going to wing it and see how it goes. I might have a future in this, you never know," Smith said.
Titans' safety Michael Griffin also joined in on the action.
