WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn.- A Williamson County Man has been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's most wanted list after attempting to break into a home with a mother and three children inside.
Officials with the Williamson County Sheriff's Department said that 38-year-old Donald Powell and his female accomplice 37-year-old Alyssa Cartwright attempted to break into a home on Friday.
According to police the two suspects beat on the door so severely that the mother inside feared for the safety of her three young children. As police investigated both Powell and Cartwright they discovered the duo both have lengthy criminal histories. Powell was on probation for burglary and Cartwright had just recently been released from jail on burglary charges.
Powell has been added to the TBI's Most Wanted list and was wanted on charges of attempted aggravated burglary. Anyone with information about Powell's whereabouts was asked to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND
