RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. – The Rutherford County judicial building was evacuated Thursday morning after a bomb threat.
The threat came in around 8:45 a.m. Thursday at the building on Public Square in Murfreesboro.
Officials said a man called the court clerk, saying there were three bombs inside the building. He said Judge Don Ash was the target, and the judge was moved to a secure location.
Deputies evacuated the building, which is across the street from the courthouse.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol and ATF bomb squad used bomb-sniffing dogs to search the building as well, but did not find anything. Everyone was allowed back inside the building around noon.
