NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A walk to raise awareness about arthritis is Saturday at the Nashville Zoo.
One thousand individuals participated in the event last year, and organizers expect more this year for the one-mile route throughout the zoo.
The walk, dubbed "Let's Move Together," is the Arthritis Foundation's signature activity.
According to the foundation, 1.2 million adults and an estimated 6,000 children have arthritis in Tennessee. It is listed as the leading cause of disability in the country.
