Public Library Kicks off Summer Reading Program

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Mayor Karl Dean attended the North Branch Library at 1001 Monroe St. at noon Saturday as part of the Nashville Public Library's Summer Reading Kickoff.

Safari Greg entertained guests. Plus there were prizes and food for those who attended the event.

The theme for this year's summer reading program is Dream Big at the Library.  This summer reading program will take place June 2 through July 14.

Children, teens, and adults are encouraged to participate. There are prizes available for everyone who completes the activities required.
