Tenn.- The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in
Nashville is consistently ranked as one of the top children's hospitals in the
country.
Every year they help thousands of children in
Nashville and all over the world. As a non-profit, the hospital relies on
charity from the community in order to keep operating.
Sunday, NewsChannel5 viewers helped raise $1.8 million for
the Children's Miracle Network beating last year's grand total by nearly $300,000. The money goes directly to the Monroe Carroll
Jr. Children's Hospital in Nashville.
