Federal Courthouse Re-Opens After Bomb Threat

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Employees at the federal courthouse in downtown Nashville have been allowed back into the building after a bomb threat on Tuesday morning.

Police dispatch said the call came in at 5 a.m. that a bomb would go off at the Estes Kefauver Federal Building & Courthouse Annex at 801 Broadway at 9 a.m.

Homeland Security was called in with bomb-sniffing dogs to search the building, but did not find anything.

There was no word on any arrests.
