Husband Wanted For Stabbing Wife In Work Parking Lot

Posted: Updated:

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Police said a man is wanted for allegedly stabbing his estranged wife in a state employee parking lot.

Police said Tina Seals got off the bus at Fourth Avenue North and Harrison Street on Wednesday afternoon and found her husband, Michael Seals, waiting for her.

The two began arguing there in the state parking lot, and Tina started toward her car. That's when her husband pulled a knife and stabbed her in the back, according to police.

A Good Samaritan intervened, allowing Tina to get to the car. She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury.

Witnesses reported Michael Seals calmly walked away after the attack.

Detectives learned Tina had recently taken out an order of protection against her husband, and he had called her earlier in the day threatening to kill her.

Anyone with information on Michael Seals' whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIMe.
